Silk sensation: oldest body atlas found in China

British scientists solved the mystery of ancient Chinese manuscripts found in the tomb of Mawandui in Hunan Province in 1973. The manuscript on silk was recognized as the oldest anatomical atlas. According to researchers, the decoding of texts challenges the widespread opinion that there is no scientific justification for acupuncture.
