Colombia revealed a new record for cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection per day

The daily number of cases of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Colombia reached a new record and amounted to 11,996 for August 6, according to the Twitter page of the Colombian Ministry of Health. In total, 357,710 such facts were recorded in the country, of which 192,355 ended in cure. Also in Colombia confirmed 11,939 fatalities from complications in COVID-19. For this reason, 315 patients died in the country per day. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,801,835 test samples have been tested for coronavirus in the republic. According to the news agency, on August 6, according to the World Health Organization, 6488 patients with coronavirus infection died in the world in a day.
