The creator of Dragon Age could release a big-budget game about King Arthur
Dragon Age author Mike Leidlow worked at Ubisoft on a game about King Arthur. This was announced on July 28 by Jason Schreier in a new material for Bloomberg. As it turned out, at Ubisoft, Leidlow led the development of a big-budget role-playing game with the working name Avalon. According to Schreier, work on the project was very good, but everything changed due to the intervention of Serge Haskoet, the former creative director of the company. Haskoet showed dissatisfaction with the chosen setting, openly stating that he did not like fantasy games. After that, the development of the project had to be canceled, and Leidlow left Ubisoft. Recall that recently Serge Haskoet was fired from Ubisoft due to inappropriate behavior against company employees. It was also reported that the opinion of the former creative director greatly influenced the work on the Assassin s Creed series.
