Over the past day, 239 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus have been identified in the Japanese capital of Tokyo, NHK reports. It is noted that within six days in the capital of Japan more than 200 infected people are detected daily. In total, 11,214 cases of coronavirus of a new type have been confirmed in Tokyo since the beginning of the pandemic. During July 26, 825 infected SARS-CoV-2 were identified throughout Japan. Thus, the total number of confirmed cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus in Japanese territory exceeded 31.3 thousand.
