One of the ministers of Mexico hospitalized after the assassination attempt

Mexico City's Minister of Civil Security Omar Garcia Arfuch was attacked, Claudia Sheinbaum, head of government of the Mexican capital, said on Twitter on June 26. The attempt was made at 14:38 Moscow time. After that, Arfuch needed hospitalization, several people died. An investigation is underway, in which several people were detained. As previously reported by the news agency, seven corpses were found in the Mexican state of Sinaloa: presumably people were killed during a criminal conflict related to drugs.

Over the past 24 hours, 636 people have died of coronavirus in Italy, 6 Borrelli, the country's civil defence chief, said at a briefing on April 6.
