Naftogaz of Ukraine to limit salaries of board members of the company

Naftogaz will comply with the law of Ukraine on limitation of salaries of heads of state companies, the press service of the company reported on May 1. The Supervisory Board of NAC Naftogaz instructed the Board of the company to develop a mechanism for the implementation of the law, which limits the maximum wage of the governing bodies of state-owned companies, the message reads. The press service noted that after the entry into force of the said law, the payment of salaries to the members of the board of the company was stopped. According to the news agency, earlier in Ukraine the maximum amount of salaries of state officials and members of supervisory boards of the largest state companies of the country was limited.
