Zelensky announced new negotiations with Russia on exchange of held persons

Representatives of Russia and Ukraine are engaged in new negotiations on the exchange of held persons, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on the TV channel Ukraine on April 17. "We want to exchange those people who are either in Crimea or Russia," he said. According to Zelensky, the situation is complicated by the spread of coronavirus, so it will not be easy to make another exchange. 'But we understand that life on coronavirus doesn 't stop, he added. Earlier, the news agency reported that on April 16 the exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics was completed. Kiev handed over 14 people, LPR and DNR 20.
