Interferon may contribute to coronavirus infection - scientists

American scientists investigated the mechanism of infection of cells with a new coronavirus infection and found that interferon, which the body uses to stimulate immunity, can contribute to infection with SARS- CoV -2 virus. The study is reported by Cell magazine.
