Brazil's Petrobras increases oil production in first quarter

Brazilian state oil and gas corporation Petrobras increased the volume of oil produced in the first quarter of 2020 by 14.6%, the press service of the company reports. Average oil, natural gas and LNG production was 2.909 million BNE/day, the statement said. The Corporation notes that the global recession did not affect the production of oil and petroleum products in the first quarter of 2020. The volume of oil refining in Petrobras also increased by 2.4%. Oil exports also increased between January and March 2020, to 25%.
