Army to bring order to Lesotho - Air Force
Lesotho Prime Minister Tom Tabane, accused of killing his ex-wife, announced that he would be deployed to the streets of the country to bring order. This is reported by the Air Force Africa. In a televised address, Tom Tabane accused the country's law enforcement agencies of trying to undermine democracy, which explained the introduction of troops. The decision was announced a day after the Constitutional Court ruled against Tabane's proposal to dissolve parliament. The country's prime minister has so far resisted pressure to resign over allegations of the murder of his ex-wife, Lipolelo Tabane, in 2017. Lesotho's 80-year-old prime minister has previously claimed he will step down in July, resisting pressure from his own party, whose members insisted he leave office immediately.
